The Longest Yard is about a man named Paul "Wrecking" Crewe who was a revered football star back in the day. A long time has passed since then. But when a drunk driving incident lands him directly in jail he finds out Warden Hazen, who is aware of Paul's football fame. Assigns him to the task of making a football team of Convicts to play in a game against the guards of the prison. With the help of his two fellow convicts ,the Caretaker and Nate Scarborough, he assembles a competitive team to play against the guards of the prison.
